TV DIVAGAL EXCLUSIVE: Ugly Betty's Hot New Location!

America Ferrera as Ugly Betty

Ugly Betty traveled across the country last year to shoot the series right in the TV Divagal's hometown, New York City. Now get ready for the cast to hit another jet-setting location!

While the news has yet to be confirmed by the network, my UB sources tell me that the cast is packing up its bags to shoot an episode in the Bahamas. Oh mama!

Not much is known on the episode that will be shot down there, though I doubt it will be the one where Betty gets her braces removed or the musical-inspired episode.

But I'm pretty certain it will feature series star America Ferrera in creatively colorful swimwear as Betty flaunts around the beach with yet another new man. What is this girl's secret when it comes to men? I want to get me some of that!

Look for Ugly Betty, season four, to kick off its Manolos Oct. 9 on ABC.

Until next time,

TV DIVAGAL EXCLUSIVE: The Bachelorette's Wes Hayden Tells All

Wes Hayden

The Bachelorette's Wes Hayden has been out defending his reputation after his boot from the reality dating series, including an exclusive interview with the NY Daily News, written by yours truly.

There's a lot more to Wes' story, so read on!

He Won't Be Appearing on The Men Tell All Show Monday Night
. "I was scared to go back and have them do anything else to me that was damaging," Wes admits, though he did have second thoughts about his decision not to return. "After watching my [elimination] show, I realized I needed to be there," but the offer was no longer on the table, according to Wes.

He Thinks Twice Now When Meeting New People
. Wes points out his portrayal on the show has poisoned some people's perception when they first meet. "It’s been hurtful, you don’t know if they are going to throw something or cuss you out, and that’s a horrible feeling." Wes stresses when people do get a chance to get to know him, they're pretty surprised by the outcome. "Last week, I was playing a gig, and it was a packed house. After I got through shaking hands and taking pictures, so many people came up to me and said, 'I came here a Wes hater, now I’m leaving a fan."

Even Though His Band Members Are Married, He's Not Feeling The Pressure To Wed. "I told the [Bachelorette] producers if I make it to the top two or  three and I don’t feel I’m ready to get married, I’m not going to get married just for the sake of  a TV show wanting someone to propose," Wes spills. "When I get down on one knee and ask someone to marry me, it’s going to be for real. I think marriage is a very serious thing."

He Wants Everyone To Leave His Ex Alone. Wes says his ex-girlfriend has become a calamity of his reality experience. "She’s going through hell right now as well. People are posting her phone number on the internet and calling her all hours of the night. She has called me a few times crying," he says. "If you Google her business, the first thing that comes up is to boycott it. This has really done a number on her, and she didn’t agree to it at all."

(TV Divagal concurs. People, leave the girl out of this mess!)

He May Get Back With His Ex... Someday. "My ex-girlfriend is a very good friend. She’s one of my best friends, maybe one of the only people I can trust," Wes confides. "I told Jake [Pavelka] the reason we broke up wasn’t because I didn’t love her, we just fundamentally didn’t have the same morals, beliefs and values. If we got married, it would never work. I told him I didn’t know what the future holds, I didn’t know if one day we would get back together. I told him there’s no guarantees."

He'll Never be The Bachelor
. "I don’t believe in it," Wes candidly declares. "I want to get as far away from it as I can."

Royal Pains Romance for Dr. Hank and Divya?

Dr. Hank and Divya

I almost married an M.D.

So I'd totally be hitting on Royal Pains' Dr. Hank Lawson if we were working together.

But is his employee, Divya, interested in making their relationship more than professional?

The Hamptons socialite-turned-medical worker is already keeping her career a secret from her parents, who would rather see their daughter dolled up for polo matches and searching for a suitable (read: rich!) husband.

Come to think of it, I'm sure they wouldn't mind if she brought the good doc home!

"The loving is coming," series star Reshma Shetty told the TV Divagal at the launch party for The Wendy Williams Show at the Gates Monday night.

"But I don't know if it's in the Hank direction."

There's a good reason for that. The dedicated physician's assistant has already got her own prescription for romance outside the office.

"There is someone Divya is involved with," Reshma spilled, adding the character has yet to be revealed on the series canvas.

"I can't give away too much, but you're going to understand more about her life and where she comes from and why she is the way she is."

Make a house call with Royal Pains on Thursdays at 10 p.m. on USA.

So You Think You Can Dance's Janette Manrara: Single and Loving It!

So You Think You Can Dance's Janette Manrara's ex-boyfriend is so kicking himself right now.

Janette Manrara

"I was involved in a four-year relationship, we were living together, and a week before I found out that I was leaving for Las Vegas to find out if I made Top 20, he broke up with me," Janette tells the TV Divagal.

The sassy Salsa dancer also suffered a car accident and had to quit her job. But she's having that last laugh.

"It was tough to get through the week with all that going on in my head," Janette says. "But it went well. I made top 20, and I'm still here in top 10. So I'm happy."

You know her ex has tried to slink back into her life.

"He definitely feels bad over what happened," Janette shares. "He has tried to reach out to me a couple times, but no."

You tell him, girl. Karma is a you-know-what!

On tonight's show, Janette loses her powerhouse of a partner, Contemporary dancer Brandon Bryant.

"He is unbelievable as a dancer, I think one of the strongest on the show," she says.

But Janette is looking forward to pairing up with someone new, namely choreographers Sonya Tayeh and Mia Michaels.

"I haven't gotten any routines where I get to dance barefoot," says Janette.

"All the numbers I've done on the show so far with Hip-Hop and Jazz have been on heels, so I'm looking forward to some Contemporary choreography where I don't have to wear any shoes."

As for maintaining that rockin' bod ('cause you know you want to know how she does it!), Janette says, "I don't have a strict diet. I try to stay away from huge meals after six."

"I drink a lot of water and juices, because you have to constantly be hydrating yourself," she shares.

"Just being on the show itself is a major workout for your body. It's hard to get big."

I'm signing up for some Hip-Hop classes, stat.

So You Think You Can Dance, the Top Ten perform, airs tonight, Wednesday at 8 p.m. on Fox.

TV Divagal Review: Miami Social

The TV Divagal loves a good docusoap! Especially one featuring a beautiful cast living beach side in killa apartments with amazing wardrobes and VIP passes beyond any velvet rope.

That's the premise behind Bravo's new series, Miami Social, which follows seven friends who live the glamorous life in Miami's South Beach.

It feels kinda like a grown up version of The Hills. The cast comes across vain and at times, the dialogue feels forced.

But if you put your brain on pause for an hour, it can be harmless fun.

George, a 30-something executive, seems to have a thing for European beauties.

His ex-wife Sorah, who's also on the show, is his best friend and confidante. He cheated on her while they were married, so she dumped his butt.

Now George is committed to being faithful to his new girlfriend, Lena, a beautiful but deadly "Russian hottie" who pick fights with him for the makeup sex, and lies to him about where she's traveling for work.

She's a crazy, certifiable girlfriend and no man will ever be able to tame her, but don't tell George that. He thinks maybe she's the one. Good luck with that, man.

Picture perfect couple Katrina and Ben are high-school sweethearts who also work together. They make a shocking announcement in the first episode.

Hardy, who hosts the hottest parties at the Gansevoort Hotel and has women swarming him every night, still goes home to his faithful girlfriend.

She's ready for him to put a ring on it, but he's not sure he's ready to make their relationship official. It's been six years, Hardy. How much more time do you need?

Michael, who is gay, is the eternal single guy searching for romance.

Unfortunately for him, he strikes out often. His best date is his friend Maria, a single mom who doesn't discriminate when it comes to dating either gender.

Of course, there's got to be the friend you hate, and that's Ariel who is so into himself he judges others by their looks and gets peeved when his friends can't hook him up with freebies.

On the surface, this cast of friends is hard to grasp. It's hard to feel any empathy for the clique, who are held together by their hefty sense of entitlement.

But if this series can delve deeper into each of their searches to find the one true finer thing in life, your soulmate -- something we can all relate to -- it may be worth showing up for date number two.

Miami Social premieres Tuesday, July 14 at 10 p.m. on Bravo.

Southern Belles Shocker: Shea Single Again!

Remember how I told you there was some serious drama about to go down on Southern Belles: Louisville? Well, the you-know-what is about to hit the fan.

According to my Kentucky sources Shea Johnson, the girl who seemed to have everything -- including the ring -- is back on the dating market. She and former fiance Jeff have called off their engagement.

What's the cause of the split? Someone's been unfaithful, and yes, with someone on the series' canvas, my sources spill. Day-um!

Who's the cheating party? I know, but you'll have to tune into the series finale on July 23 to find out for yourself.

I can share that Shea's friends are there for her in her darkest hour.

"As sad and tragic as the entire ordeal is, it brought us closer," fellow series star
Emily Gimmel shared with me in a previous interview.

When life does get you down, you gotta have your girls around.

Diva Interview: Drop Dead Diva's Brooke Elliott!

Brooke Elliott

7.10.09

As promised, here's the TV Divagal's exclusive interview with Brooke Elliott, the star of Lifetime's new series Drop Dead Diva.

This show is tailor-made for the TV Divagal (it's got my name in its title!). It's about Jane, a shy lawyer whose body is inhabited by the soul of a recently departed model.

Now the once insecure legal eagle is breaking out, literally (there's a scene in the pilot where she smashes a window), as Deb learns to love her new full-figured body, and look fabulous while doing it. TV Divagal approves!

The new series is getting a pretty stellar guest-star roster. TV Divagal already broke that Rosie O'Donnell has returned to the series for a second episode.

Now Brooke gives up the scoop on Paula Abdul's upcoming appearance and why American Idol's Adam Lambert might snag a guest role.

Paula Abdul is guest-starring on your show in September. Can you tell us about her role?

She plays herself as Judge Abdul, who's a judge in the courtroom in a dream that Jane's having. It's kind of in her American Idol role. I won't blow the dream, but she did a fabulous job. She was lovely and really committed to the role. It was fun to have her around.

Speaking of American Idol, you starred in the musical Wicked with Adam Lambert. Any thoughts on having him on your show?

I'll have to talk to [executive producer] Josh Berman about that. That would be great.

What's the biggest differences between old Jane and her new Deb-infused personality?

Old Jane, she's thoughtful and passionate and loyal and brilliant and beautiful. But she has some insecurities and is rather shy. Deb, who is now inside of Jane, didn't have those same insecurities and her spirit affects Jane in that way. She now, however, has to struggle with learning how to be in this body and this new life.

Which lines are harder to deliver: Jane's legal jargon or Deb's valley girl speak?

They require such an equal amount of focus! This role requires such an equal amount of concentration and focus on which personality is driving a majority of the scene in that moment. Is Jane's characteristics coming through or is Deb leading it. They're both challenging and both fun.  Because it's Deb's soul, everything is seen through Deb's eyes. It's just how much of Jane's characteristics are coming through at the moment.

Deb is a fashionista! Will Jane's look evolve now that Deb is driving her personality?

It does evolve a bit. Jane needs to feel amazing about herself and that's going to help Deb accept this new life that she's in. And that's Deb's forte, fashion and looks. That's something she can give to Jane.

Which designers will Jane be rocking?

I love Marina Rinaldi. The stuff I put on from her is fantastic and amazing, and you feel great in it.

It's pretty convenient that Deb's grieving boyfriend, Grayson, now works at Jane's law firm. So when will he and Jane hook up?

I don't know, but I hope so. I know Deb inside of Jane would certainly love that.

What's been your most real-life Diva moment?

This show is. It's been the best opportunity to express myself as an actress and as a person, and just get to display my own confidence and my own love for my body and myself.

Love that we're both Divas! What does the word mean to you?

To me, Diva embodies confidence. It's someone who knows her beauty and worth.

You know the TV Divagal is all about that!

So You Think You Can Dance: Dancing Twice to Make Top 10!

Philip Chbeeb

Philip Chbeeb

7.08.09

So You Think You Can Dance is really making the final 12 work for a spot in the Top Ten  tonight!

As if learning one of Mia Michaels' routines a week isn't enough, each of the couples will perform two dances tonight, resident Hip-Hopper Philip Chbeeb reveals to the TV Divagal.

"The stress level this week, it's been the worst," he shares. "Everybody's trying really hard because the next spots go on tour, so it's a huge week for all of us."

Philip's really feeling the pressure since he and his partner Jeanine Mason were in the bottom three last week.

"It wasn't the most expected circumstance," he says.

But Philip found a silver lining as he danced for his life.

"It was nice to give a little taste of why I'm here and where I come from," says Philip of getting the chance to once again show off his unique popping style.

And he's hoping, if he makes it past this week, he'll get a chance to show off even more.

"I would like to work with Wade Robson before I'm off the show," Philip says. "He has this strange creature-type movement  and I feel that he could take what I do, and turn it into a really nice piece of art."

Philip wants his chance to work with Mia too.

"She would destroy me in every possible way, but it would turn out a beautiful piece in the end."

Season Five won't be the last we see of Philip on SYTYCD. The college student plans to return to school after his run, "double majoring in dance and engineering," he shares. Now that's got to be a first!

"I plan on going back and learning dance because I want to come back on the show and choreograph Hip-Hop."

And there's another incentive to hang around come season six: his girlfriend, Ariel Coker. Yes, that is the girl he partnered with during her first audition this season. They were just too cute not to be a couple!

"She's planning on auditioning," Philip dishes. "She's finally auditioning as a solo artist so people can see what she's really capable of."

And we know you'll be there Philip as her biggest fan!

So You Think You Can Dance airs tonight, Wednesday, at 8 p.m. on Fox.

Drop Dead Diva: Rosie O'Donnell Back for a second episode!

7.8.09

Rosie O'Donnell is dropping in again on Lifetime's new series Drop Dead Diva about a vain model, Deb, whose spirit winds up in the full-figured body of Jane, a brilliant but insecure lawyer.

The show hasn't even premiered yet (check it out this Sunday!), but the TV Divagal has exclusively learned that Rosie is guest starring on a second episode!

"She plays a judge and we find out that she's a mentor of Jane's," series star Brooke Elliott tells me.

"Of course Deb doesn't remember this," Brooke says with a laugh. "But she was her mentor, and a friend.

Rosie will be back in Peachtee City, Ga. later this week for her second shoot.

Hmmm, I think I smell a recurring role coming on. And it smells fabulous!

Drop Dead Diva premieres Sunday, July 12 at 9 p.m. on Lifetime.

Check back on Friday for more of my exclusive interview with Drop Dead Diva star Brooke Elliott and find out which American Idol finalist (and her former stage buddy!) she'd love to have guest star on the show.

DIVA SPOTTED: E! news correspondent Ashlan Gorse

Ashlan Gorse
7.7.09

It's nice to know that E! news correspondent Ashlan Gorse got to have a little fun this weekend for the July 4th holiday.

The real-life Southern belle spent her Independence Day hosting a sparkly celebration at Cathouse restaurant inside Luxor Hotel in Las Vegas.

It was a nice break before her duties for today: keeping up running commentary on the Michael Jackson memorial service, airing live on virtually every network beginning at 1 p.m. EST.

"This is such a devastating loss for entertainment," Ashlan tells the TV Divagal.

"Michael was one of the most influential performers of all time.

While Ashlan has never met Michael, she shares that he touched so many other stars.

"Every entertainer I have interviewed from Beyonce to Keith Urban and Usher to Sheryl Crow, they have all said MJ was an huge influence on their career choice and their music.

"Michael was on my top list of people to meet, sad I will never get the chance to shake his hand."

Me too, Ashlan.

Warehouse 13: Stocking up on Romance?

7.07.09

Whenever a guy and a gal partner up on a new cop/medical/court drama, I only want to know one thing: When are they gonna hook up?

And SyFy's new series Warehouse 13 is no exception.

Joanne Kelly and Eddie McClintock

Two secret service agents, Pete (the adorable Eddie McClintock) and Myka (striking beauty Joanne Kelly) are assigned to chase down the supernatural, the paranormal and the down right freaky, which will be housed at the Warehouse.

Come on, these actors are just too cute not to get some on-screen action!

"Right now, it's kind of a brother/sister relationship," says Eddie.

"I"m kind of the younger brother who's constantly pulling at her pigtails, and she's in turn always punching me in the arm."

Joanne agrees. "That's definitely our relationship," she says.

Doesn't sound too promising. But wait, there's hope!

"My character is very isolated at the beginning, and Eddie's is too, and you see these two people gradually open up to one another," she continues.

"Whether it be in a brother/sister way or a romantic one, you see these two people are constantly learning more about the other," Joanne surmises.

Well, that's what makes two people fall in love, right? So I'm not giving up hope!

The Bachelorette: Wes is outta here!

7.06.09

Wes Hayden

Get that smug look off your face, Wes. Jillian finally grabbed a clue and sent you home tonight on The Bachelorette.

I don't want to waste time writing too much about this deceitful douche bag (after all, that's what he wants!). But I'll definitely ask the questions you're dying to have answered when I get him on the phone this week, so send away!

While I was pleased to see that Jillian finally told Wes to pack his bags, I would have called him on his bluff and taken him to the fantasy suite. Let's see you break that down to your girlfriend, playa!

Wes' exit was really a "Get Out of Jail Free" card for the remaining bachelors, who only seems like saints because Wes was such a worm.

There's Kiptyn, who made it very clear there would be no proposal if he's the last man standing.

And Ed, who has a lot of catching up to do, including connecting Jillian with his family. Is there a cell phone handy in Hawaii? It's just a domestic call to Chicago. ABC can handle the rates!

And Reid. Sweet Reid, who never once said how he truly felt about Jillian, even though she asked him over and over again.

So they were truly lucky that other guy was just faking it.

And Jillian surprised us all by not taking any of the guys to the fantasy suite.

Goes to show she may like making out, but she ain't putting out until there's a ring on it.

Go on, girl!

Catch the next episode of The Bachelorette Monday, July 13 at 8 p.m. on ABC.

Twin Brothers for The Bachelor?

Michael Stagliano  7.6.09

This won't be the last we see of eliminated bachelor Michael Stagliano, if he has his way.

The break dancer and author is ready for his chance to return and be the one giving out the roses.

But Michael doesn't want to do it alone. He's pushing for his brother Steve to join him to be the series first twin Bachelors. It's double the fun!

"It's exciting to think that Steve and I could find our girls at the same time," Michael shares.

"To find them and propose at the same time, and have weddings at the same time, I really couldn't imagine anything better happening in my whole life, so we're absolutely considering it."

And while his dad may have warned Michael not to get his hopes up too high over being the man to ask Jillian Harris to become his wife, Michael says his family is all for both boys returning to the mansion to find their future spouses.

"My brother and I have brought home girls that really didn't get 10 out of 10 with my family," he admits, adding his family considered Jillian one of the rare ten.

"They really loved her a lot, and I think they believe I found love. They would want us to do twin bachelors because they know the process works."

And what would be the best part of having Michael as the next Bachelor?

"After dating Jillian, sure, I'm open to dating older women," the 25-year-old says.

That times two? It's a good time to (almost) be a cougar!

DIVA SIGHTING! Real World House: D.C. goes Italian

07.03.09

The cast of MTV's The Real World D.C. is busy creating a whole new season of drama in the nation's capital.

But it seems these kids aren't getting the expense accounts that rival the stars of The Hills.

Instead of dining at celeb-happy Café Milano, onen of D.C.'s most expensive Italian restaurants, the series shot at a Buca di Beppo just north of Dupont Circle.

This national Italian restaurant chain boasts its family-style dining and affordable prices. Gratzi a bargain!

Is MTV being fiscally cautious due to the recession? Hey, we all have to watch our pennies!

TV Divagal will definitely keep you posted on where The Real World D.C. cast pops up next. She's got spies everywhere.

They might tour the White House. That's free!

Sandra Lee's Independence Day Cooking Secrets

Sandra Lee7.03.09

It's the Fourth of July tomorrow, which means a whole lotta people will be firing up the grill.

TV Divagal prefers to stay far from an open flame. But that didn't stop me from ringing up the Grill goddess herself, Sandra Lee of Food Network's Money-Saving Meals, to get some tips on making the perfect Independence Day fest.

So what does Sandra suggest throwing on the grill this holiday? "My ale-house burgers," she says. "They're beer burgers with a red onion compote."

For the culinary clueless (like me!), that's red onions reduced in a mixture of water, brown sugar and beer. Yeah!

The burgers are 80 percent ground beef and more beer (double, yeah!), and seasoning.

Stick shredded cheese inside the burgers, slap it on the grill and they're done.

The best part? They're only 59 cents per burger.

TV Divagal can spend the savings on the cutest red, white and blue dress!

And TV Divagal always appreciates an invitation where she can show off a new outfit.

The Bachelorette's Jake Pavelka stands behind his confession!

7.01.09

Kevin Foley/ABC

Oh shizz!

The Bachelorette's Jake Pavelka (no relation to Diet Tribe's Jessie Pavelka on Lifetime) is standing behind his confession to tell bachelorette Jillian Harris that remaining bachelor, Wes, indeed has a girlfriend named Laurel, even as the girl in question denies that she is still involved with the country musician! Drama!

"They had an agreement that they'd put their relationship on the backburner so he could go on TV and sell CDs," says Jake.

"I know 100 percent he and Laurel were together, and they were together during the show."

According to the Denton, Tex. native, who swore to God, Wes confided in Jake on several occasions, and actually admitted that he was ready to quit the show since he had gotten his publicity and had his girl back home.

"It was a dialogue back and forth… he told me he loved [Laurel]," Jake confesses.

Jake questioned Wes if he had any feelings for Jillian.

"He said, 'It's just not the girl, I'm going to break her heart," Jake shares.

"He said I'm going to bow out when the time is right."

But Wes hasn't bowed out gracefully, and he's in the final four!

"His biggest fear was that if he makes it far enough, he and Jillian have to go behind closed doors," Jake says.

"He was so worried about that, because that wasn't going to be okay with Laurel."

That just might explain why someone doesn't live up to his potential on the overnight!

Telling Jillian wasn't an easy choice for Jake.

"I struggled with that information for a long time," Jake tells the TV Divagal, stressing he didn't go back to get Wes get kicked off, but just to inform Jillian of his taken status.

"I felt it was really important to help Jillian along because she couldn't see it."

Jake even hopes he and Wes can make amends once the show ends.

"I hope we can be friends," he shares, saying the next time he sees Wes he'd "put my hand out, shake his warmly and just kind of take it from there."

As for the petitions popping up to make Jake the next Bachelor (something I predicted last week!), the pilot admits, "I'd consider it."

I'm thinking the ink's already dry on that, Texas boy.

And Jake is ready to try a new type of woman.

"The girl who won't call you back and plays a lot of games, they are a lot of fun and they keep you on your toes. But you know it's not the type of girl you're going to wind up marrying," he says.

"I would go after the girls that are possibly not my type, because my type has kept me single."

Translated: Crazies, stay home!

No Hills for Sean Stewart -- He's Got His own Reality Bites!

7.01.09

Sean Stewart is coming back to the reality canvas!

The Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew alum revealed exclusively to the TV Divagal that he has a deal set for another reality series. (It will be his third, if you're keeping count!)

The deets are mum, but Sean did reveal that he's "obviously going to be in it," in between sets at the Pro-Am Tennis Tournament to raise funds for the Ross School in East Hampton this past Saturday.

"I'm DJ-ing now, so it's a little about that and a lot of things," Sean continued to spill. "I would say my life is very interesting."

Here's more scoop! His good friend (and Kourtney Kardashian's ex-fiance) Scott Disick wants to work with him on camera.

"I was thinking more along the lines of doing a sex tape together," said Scott.

Seriously?

"Actually I'm going to produce Scott's new show."

Interesting… So, does this mean we won't be seeing Sean, once linked to reinstated reality star Kristin Cavallari, popping up on the upcoming season of The Hills?

"Definitely not," Sean declared to the TV Divagal. "Not my thing."

We understand, Sean, but never rule out the power of a well-placed cameo!

TNT's Hawthorne

New TV Couple alert: Michael Vartan and Jada Pinkett Smith!

There's only one question you want answered about the new TNT series starring Jada Pinkett Smith as Christina Hawthorne, a newly widowed woman who runs the nurses' division at a city hospital:

When is she hitting the sheets with her hunky co-star Michael Vartan!  (On-camera only, of course!)

Brace yourself: It's not going to happen right away.

"In the story, Jada's husband has just passed away about a year ago, and I was a close friend of his," says Michael, who plays the hospital's chief of surgery, Dr. Tom Wakefield.

"We're going to need a little time for the poor girl before Dr. Tom swoops in to try to take her out."

Bummed out about that? So is Michael.

One of the reasons he joined the series was to share screen time with Jada

"Getting an opportunity to work with her was very exciting," he admits.

And Michael believes that romance between Christina and Tom will happen, someday.

"I definitely think that’s one element of the story that will be explored at some point," he tells the TV Divagal.

In fact, he's looking forward to it.

"Who wouldn't be," he declares.

If Jada's hubby Will Smith is cool with it, so are we!

Hawthorne premieres Tuesday, June 16 at 9 p.m. on TNT.

Do you think Genevieve can be as mean as Simon?

Dear Genevieve's Genevieve Gorder has joined the judges' table on Design Star this season, and 5'10 glamazon admitted she's been taking notes from Simon Cowell's playbook of ripping on a contestant.

"Why not be honest? Everyone is thinking that at home, so why not say it," she declared.

"I'm judging them and I want them to get better, so I'm not just going to say it's pretty."

Who knew the gal had such sass? Do you think Genevieve can be as mean as Simon?
